Tomato Chutney Recipe, Tamatar Chutney Recipes

Ingredients for Tomato Chutney:
- Vegetable oil: 1/4 cup
- Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
- Garlic: 6-8 cloves (chopped)
- Green Chiles: 3-5 (halved and seeded)
- Tomatoes: 1 lbs (ripe and chopped)
- Paprika: 1 tsp
- Cayenne pepper & salt to Taste
Method of preparation for Tomato Chutney:
Heat the oil in a pan at high temperature. Sprinkle cumin seeds in the oil and fry it for 10-15 seconds. Now add garlic and halved chilies and cook it for 1 minute. Add all the other ingredients and stir it well to combine and mix everything. Lessen the heat and cook uncovered for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes are concentrated to a thick paste and the oil has separated. Serve it cool. Refrigerate it and you can use it for 1 week.
