Ingredients for Jeera Rice:
- Cooked white rice: 5 cups
- Onion sliced finely: 1 small
- Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds: 1 tsp (powdered)
- Ghee: 4 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method of preparation for Jeera Rice:
Heat up the ghee in a open pan and include the cumin seeds. When they splutter, add the sliced onion, and fry up till the onions turn transparent. Now put in the cumin powder and fry for 30 seconds. Put in the cooked rice and salt to taste. Blend well. Heat through and serve. Consume with a meat dish.
