Ingredients for Aloo Tomatar Recipes:
- Potatoes: 3 (boiled)
- Tomatoes: 2 (cut to medium sizes)
- Ginger: 1 (smallpiece and minced well)
- Chilli Powder: 1 tsp
- Green Chilli: 4
- Coriander Leaves: 2 tbsp
- Cumin Powder: Half tsp
- Jeera: 1 tsp
- Onion: 2
- Oil: 2 tbs
Method of preparation for Aloo Tomato:
First heat the oil in a pan. Add Jeera and onions to it and fry it till onion turns slightly brown. Add green chillis and fry it further for 2 minutes. Add other left over spices and fry it for a minute. Add tomatoes and fry it further for 3-4 minutes. Add potato and salt to taste. Add 1 cup of water and cook it for 8-10 minutes with pan covered. Finally before taking the pan off the stove, add coriander leaves (chopped). Serve it with roti or puri.
