Ingredients for Butter Chicken Recipe:
- Chicken drumsticks: 3 lbs
- Garlic: 1tsp (paste)
- Cardamoms: 6
- Cinnamon: 2 sticks
- Chilli: 3 tsp (powder)
- Yogurt: 1 cup
- Tomato: ½ (puree)
- Butter: 4 oz
- Cream: 1 cup (sour)
- Oil: 1 tbsp
- Ginger: 1 tsp (paste)
- Salt: To taste
Method of preparation for Butter Chicken:
Take a large saucepan and heat oil in it. Put ginger, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and garlic to it. Fry this at simmer for around a minute. Now add Chicken drumsticks, yogurt, cream, tomato puree, salt and chilli powder to the saucepan. Cook on medium low heat for about half an hour. Keep the lid of the saucepan covered and stir it occasionally. Add butter as required before serving.
